It's been awhile...
WOW! It has been over a year since I last wrote a blog post. I have been missing this space and sharing my life with you all in this format, but the hiatus was much needed. So much has happened in the last year and I have so much to share, but I will start with the little things!
First things first, WE MOVED! If you've been following me on Instagram, then you would have seen that last June, we packed up our apartment in Ohio, spent about a month in California visiting family, then relocated permanently to the Las Vegas area! It has been so nice living here, the heat is not as unbearable as I imagined it would be!
Mason finished kindergarten, learned how to read, played on his first basketball and soccer teams, and is so outgoing. He loves making new friends, and talks way too much LOL In other words, Mase is growing up WAY TOO FAST!
So much has been going on with Zion, which I will save all the details for another post, but I will share that we officially received an autism diagnosis for him this March and are in the process of beginning services for him as well as enrolling him in preschool for the fall!
He has made incredible progress this year from Randal and I working with him at home, but extra support is much needed, so I am looking forward to that starting soon!
Mr. Malakai Jayce has turned ONE!!! I know, I cannot believe how fast time is passing! Malakai turned one, he started walking just before his birthday and is EVERYWHERE. Oh my gosh, he is just a little busy body and so curious about everything, I love it!
Randal started a new job that is going incredibly well for him and our family. He works so hard and its paying off. I am so grateful that his job has given me the option of staying at home and not needing to work! We are very happy with our new life here and are excited to see what is to come!
As I slowly come back into this space, I'd like to ask, what are some things you would like to read about OR would it be more helpful to have guides for different topics?! Let me know in the comments below! I want this space to be a space where mother's and women in general can be transparent about life. Real life. Feel free to leave comments and even encourage someone else if they need it!
